Common signs your dog could benefit from physiotherapy

Common Symptoms 🐾 Does your dog do this?

Signs your dog may benefit from physio:

🔹Wonky sit

🔹Skipping with a leg whilst moving

🔹Stiff to get up

🔹Flinching back

🔹 A “wonky” sit or a “puppy” sit, where the dog slouches to the side may be a sign of issues within the hind limbs, particularly the hips

🔹 Skipping or hopping a leg when walking or trotting shows there is an underlying condition in the hind limbs too, often the knee

🔹 If your dog is stiff to get up, they may be starting to show their age and could benefit from joint support

🔹 A back that flinches or spasms when touched could indicate sore muscles

If you see any of these signs in your dog and are concerned, it is best to get them checked over by the vet to identify any underlying issues.

These are all symptoms that physiotherapy can help with to make your dog more comfortable.
